I hope my idea will be appreciated and supported by many lovers of water recreation who would like to have a fast, lightweight, compact, safe solid hull kayak for walking and training on the water. A kayak that you could easily bring to the water, transported in a car or any other transport to a pond. It is especially nice when it is possible to explore new places, take a kayak with you to the sea and the like. Agree - it's boring to swim contemplating the same coast. But this requires mobility. Ideally - the kayak should be lightweight, compact and have excellent driving and speed qualities. Also a plus would be the presence of cargo compartments. Naturally, a kayak should be safe. If a kayak allowed you to take on board a company of several rowers it would be fun) I almost forgot to add - a kayak should not cost money like a spaceship and must be beautiful 😉 For several years I studied my river so well that I was bored. I took a kayak with me a couple of times to rest. But it was very inconvenient. I had to put a trunk for mounting a kayak on the roof. And for loading and unloading the boat I had to ask for help. I couldn’t throw 36 kg onto the 2 m roof of the minibus. The back injury also affected. Alternatively, you can put a long boat in the passenger compartment. But it was possible if it was empty. In general, I realized that I need another boat ... Looking at old magazines, I came across a concept of a folding 3 sectional boat sections of which were successively invested one into one. As a result, the entire boat was placed in one section. I liked this option the most and was taken as a basis. Next, I started to implement my idea. This summer I tested the driving performance of a boat built on the water. During the summer season I went on a kayak for more than 100km. He visited three rivers. I am completely satisfied with my boat and will gladly present you my work) So: Unassembled, three sections are embedded one into the other according to the principle of "nesting dolls". The bow section is embedded in the stern, and the stern in the central section. A folding oar is also placed here. Cockpit length 1.5m, width 0.62m, height 42cm. The boat fits easily even in the passenger compartment of a car! collected within 5-6 minutes. Sections are fastened with six stainless bolts in tight mounts. For the convenience of assembly-disassembly, a special key is used. There are two foot rest positions. Comfortable sitting and backrest. Reliable back support eliminates stress on the lower back! In the bow and stern sections there are spacious oval-shaped luggage hatches. For insertion of the bow in the aft section, a removable deck. The safety of the boat is ensured by the tightness of the compartments. Also under the seat laid 27 liters of foam, which provides the necessary buoyancy, even with complete flooding. “The kayak holds its course perfectly and at the same time maneuvers easily.” It is not sensitive to the wave and goes well in windy weather. Cruising speed of 6-7 km / h. Maximum 9 km / h. The boat is stable and allows even a beginner to stay confidently on the water. I conceived this boat as a mobile alternative to full-sized kayak kayaks allowing you to easily navigate different water bodies without experiencing difficulties in transportation, assembly and storage. N3SK is a Ukrainian development, an original design, and its production uses advanced technology of thermal vacuum forming in combination with fiberglass reinforcement of the body. Thus, having acquired the N3SK, you can combine the speed, reliability and convenience of a hard hull kayak with the ability to quickly assemble a folding boat, plus the convenience of carrying and storing, occupying a minimum of space in a city apartment or garage.
