UniversityNow Announces The College Works Initiative: Scholarship Program to Help Working Adults Earn College Degrees UniversityNow, a social venture committed to transforming higher education, is announcing the debut of its College Works Initiative. Through the College Works Initiative, UniversityNow is limiting the price of tuition and books at its schools to each worker's existing tuition assistance benefit, regardless of the amount. The combination of an employer's tuition assistance benefit and the College Works Scholarship covers the entire cost of attending an online degree program at a UniversityNow school. The program is available to individuals who live or work in Oakland and Sacramento, the first two cities to join the College Works Initiative.
