PROFILE OF PATKAI CHRISTIAN COLLEGE (PCC) AUTONOMOUS The founders of the College maintain that academic excellence and Biblical Christian faith and practice are essential to a meaningful and purposeful life. Patkais 1000-acre site, donated by Seithekiema and Chumukedima villages, is located in a residential area across the river from Chumukedima town, ten miles east of Dimapur on the way to Kohima. It is about 20 kms. from the only railway station, and 17 kms from the only airport in Nagaland. The present campus is about two furlongs from the national highway, and spreads over 200 acres. The College now has two campuses--old and new--with two separate entrances. Patkai Christian College is a college of higher education in Chümoukedima of Dimapur district, and is rated highest by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in the state of Nagaland, out of 11 colleges recognised by the University Grants Commission of India. It is rated with A grade for three consecutive assessments by NAAC and also with a status of CPE (College with potential for excellence). The NAAC team re-accredited the institution in March 2010, giving it the A grade with a CGPA of 3.06. In 2016, it is re-accredited with CGPA 3.26.
