Attorney General Niki Sharma, announced proposed legislation that would help stop “protest activities and other activities, harassing activities” targeted at kids attending schools as well as places of worship, Eby says. The premier adds, “It is a disturbing trend that is not unique to British Columbia, but it is one that British Columbia is uniquely taking on.” “It’s clearly laid out in the bill that I’ll be tabling soon… The specific behaviours that aren't allowed, including intimidation, causing mental or physical harassment to people obstructing access to the place of worship,” Sharma said.
