Presenting the Freight Train gift box from Metal Earth. This gift box contains the sheets and parts to make the locomotive and four cars. In this video, I give you part on of the build, the Locomotive. The locomotive is a EMD GP40. The GP40 is a 4-axle diesel-electric road-switcher locomotive built by General Motors, Electro-Motive Division between November 1965 and December 1971. It has an EMD 645E3 16-cylinder engine generating 3,000. In following videos, I will bring you each of the other four cars to complete this build. The Locomotive took about an hour and forty five minutes to complete. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keep in mind, this video may make the building of this model look a little easier than it is. I have edited a some things out to shorten the video to a more watchable length. There are a lot of adjustments and retries when putting these models together. Work slowly and be patient.
