I can’t get over how mind-blowing it is to make coffee with the xBloom. This machine’s technology is so advanced that it is capable of brewing coffee that bests my own pour-overs. That is truly incredible. In the past, if you wanted convenience, you had to sacrifice quality – especially when it came to brewing coffee. But this machine is so advanced that it makes the highest level of coffee brewing convenient and intuitive to anyone, whether you are a coffee aficionado or not. After scanning the RFID tag on the bottom of the bean pod, the xBloom adjusts the temperature, grind size, ratio, and pouring patterns to optimize its brew for each specific coffee, using the exact settings chosen by each roaster. xBloom has world-class roasting partners – the coffee I am using here is from Onyx Coffee Lab. Each pod made from sugarcane & bamboo fiber doubles as a flat-bottom pour-over dripper, with a paper filter perfectly folded inside. The experience of watching as the xBloom brews are amazing – it functions like it is thinking intentionally about each step in the brewing process. Grinding, manipulating the water pouring pattern, weighing and accurately measuring the freshly ground coffee and water output, vibrating to introduce agitation while brewing… Its built-in grinder does an awesome job, which is half (if not more) of the battle when it comes to brewing coffee. Ultimately, the coffee tastes delicious – better than any other automatic brewing machine that I have tried. I could watch, and drink coffee from this machine all day.
