I know your all actually back in school now, my apologies but better later than never, right!? With these back to school hairstyles I tried to keep them quick so you can keep your morning routine speedy for school, and kind of heatless to keep your hair as healthy as possible! These hairstyles work especially well for medium hair, as mine is also medium hair, but you can also do a few of these with short hair if you have bobby pins, and of course all of these back to school hairstyles work for long hair as well. Back to school hairstyle #1 is the quick and easy half up do. This hairstyle will only take you 5 minutes. Start by sectioning off your hair into a half and half down part. Then curl every other piece of hair by wrapping it around the curling iron barrel. Take some styling gel and scrunch your hair, then polish the updo into a twisted bun. Hairstyle #2 is the half up french braid. Begin with the same beachy wave curled hair, take the up do out, section it into two piece and french braid them down. Secure with bobby pins or hair elastics. Hairstyle #3 dutch braid ponytail. The dutch braid is different from the french braid, if you do not know how to dutch braid your hair search how to dutch braid your hair tutorial, basically you braid hair inwards instead of outwards like a french braid. For this hairstyle, dutch braid the top half of each side of your hair, then gather all of your hair into a ponytail. Hairstyle #4 Is the sleek high ponytail. This hairstyle is super fast, heathless, and fashionable. Gather your hair, put it into a high pony tail. Then take a piece from the pony tail, wrap it around the band of your hair, and secure by pushing a bobby pin through the ponytail, where the hair wrap ends. Lastly, hairstyle number 5 is the volume and lengthened ponytail. This hairstyle is awesome for medium hair and short hair because it will make your hair look longer. Basically, you section your hair into two parts, ponytail on the bottom, and ponytail on the top. There you have a ponytail that will make your hair appear thicker and longer.
