Dall Sheep in their Mountain Homes 🏔️

We spotted these dall sheep 🐏 when they were already on the move about a half mile above where we stood! The group of 5 split off from a mom and lamb and was headed west along the mountain side in a line leaving a cool trail behind them in the rocks. We then decided to send the drone up for a closer look. We tracked the group for ten plus minutes careful to stay far away with the drone and instead rely on its zooming capabilities. As you can see in the video, the group continues west and half way through we head over to check the missing two sheep. And they were coming toward the drone pretty fast, in a hurry to rejoin the herd. I hope you enjoy seeing these mountain dwellers up close as much as we did! Two lambs and what appear to be four ewes (female sheep).
