I used to do Extra Life, but for 2023 I decided to re-brand my annual charity stream and name it SUPER MOMO! After 2022’s successful Mario 64 redemption (I hated it is as a kid and swore off Mario games the rest of my life), I played Super Mario Galaxy for this year’s event, while raising money for Trans Lifeline! Big thanks to my mod and one of my best friendos m0rdack/Jim for being my player 2, helping me do a handful of the stars I ran into that were too hard for me, and for letting me play his 3D All Stars version of the game! We raised over 1,200 USD for Trans Lifeline and this was the first year I did big prizes and incentives. My friend Bloomerumi makes Mario Galaxy plushie items and I just had to collab with her since I know she really loves the game a lot. Ugh I also ate a pickle for the first time in like 20+ years! I LOATHE vinegar. And it didn’t take very long for that incentive to get reached.
