Usually a security cameras’ alerts will tell you only if they detected motion or sound, then you have to manually go look at the clip to see what was up. The Butterfleye will actually tell you what it thinks it saw based on different categories. These include if a moving object is a human face or a pet, or if it heard a loud noise or detected the camera was moved. And you can toggle these on a per category basis, so if all you want to be notified about is if you dog jumped up on the couch, just enable the Pet detection notification and turn off the rest.
