Subwoofer Box Build for 18 inch Sub | Fi BL18 | 2011 Scion xB | DaSlapBox

In this video, we build, paint, and install a box for an 18 inch Fi BL subwoofer, and a temporary amp rack for a Sundown SCV-1500D amplifier, in DaSlapBox, which is my 2011 Scion xB car audio build. It's not a race car, it's a bass car. While this video my not necessarily be a tutorial, it should at least be entertaining watching me stumble through the process. There IS plenty to learn, as I provide plenty of examples of how not to do things! But don't get it it twisted, the final product SLAPS! The box comes in at about 7.5cuft after accounting for the sub and port, and was built to be tuned to 30Hz (although I definitely forgot to take the corner 45s into account when calculating the airspace)... Please keep in mind that this car is a work in progress. I built the box so I could have some bass while I built up the rest of the car. It is by no means the final form! Speaking of which, the amp rack is TEMPORARY...literally just a way to mount the amp until I figure what direction I'm going for the rest of the amps (mids/highs and exterior speakers).
