They made their debut in 2006 with an album of the same name; four songs for fifty minutes of evocative and unstable music, which seems to envelop itself like a cloud: the space rock of Hawkwind which slowly condenses and becomes rougher, more abrasive, touching the psycho stoner of the early Monster Magnet, up to become gloomy and inexorable like a storm advancing to the slow and menacing tempo of Sleep. A continuous succession and intertwining of distorted guitars and feedback, seventies sonorities and cavernous basses, doom boulders and occasional hypnotic lullabies of a voice which, from what is filtered, seems like a menacing wind whipping the sound surface. A cerebral storm that sometimes repeats itself obsessively, saturated and suffocating like a thick acid fog, but which also knows how to relax and ignite like a cloud at sunset, with long breaths of shamanic psychedelia, of tribal dances around the fire, of faces on which the time seems to have wanted to trace all the roads, paths and dead ends of the world. "Dragon Of The Deep Part Two" (lasting 22:13) is music that seems to be modeled on the water cycle, the soundtrack of a stormy sea: it starts as prey to a languid wave motion, rises slowly, between swirls of a melody that looks like steam in how light it is; slowly, inexorably, it lets itself be enraptured by ascending rhythmic currents: it grows and swells until it explodes with the fury of a tidal wave; every hit on the cymbals recalls its roar, the wah wahs are a wind that raises its profile, every guitar chord is the scream of the wave that can be seen breaking apart. And then, slowly, as it had begun, the fury of the storm subsides: the storm lays down its weapons and the sky can once again make peace with the earth.
