My Last Ever Nitro Pepsi!

RIP to the best soda mankind ever created, and I will happily die on that hill! Gone too soon, it was perfect for folks like me who often find regular carbonated beverages too 'spicy', for lack of a better way to describe it. Instead of that strong 'bite' of carbonation, Nitro Pepsi had a smoother, more refined and less vigorous texture, often dismissed as 'flat Pepsi' by nonbelievers. The bubbles were much smaller, and created a creamy, frothy head with its own unique taste. Notice the unique sound produced upon opening the can; that's the nitrogen being released into the soda itself from the 'widget' inside the bottom of the can. (This widget device is the reason the cans are labeled 13.65 ounces, despite being 16 ounces in size.) It became my go-to for caffeine, replacing coffee and the attendant stomach issues. I can't remember the last time I so badly missed a discontinued consumable product! Maybe one day PepsiCo will realize their mistake and bring it back...I can dream!
