호남지역은 예로부터 풍요의 땅으로 불리며, 오랜 시간 선조들의 역사가 살아 숨 쉬는 곳입니다. 이번 전시는 국립나주박물관이 국립나주문화재연구소, 한국문화유산협회와 함께 2017년부터 2019년까지 최근 3년 동안 호남지역에서 발굴조사 된 고고유적과 유물을 소개하기 위해 마련하였습니다. 매장문화재는 세월의 흐름처럼 땅속에 수많은 역사를 간직하고 있습니다. 그리고 땅속의 울림은 발굴조사를 통해 우리 곁에 나타나서 역사의 실마리를 풀어줍니다. 우리는 이번 전시를 통해 고고학자의 노고와 새롭게 밝혀진 역사의 흔적을 알리고자 합니다. A long- standing ancestral history continues to live and breathe in the Honam region, which since andient times has been referred to as a land of prosperity. The Naju National Museum, together with the Naju National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and the Korea Cultural Heritage Assiciation, is proud to present a special exhibition showcasing archaeological sites and relics that were discovered around the honam region from 2017 to 2019. Buried objects embody the traces of history that have accumulated with the passage of time. These underground resources discovered through survey and inverstigation offer us clues into the hidden secrets of history. This exhibition aims to present newly discovered fragments of history and appreciate the efforts of the archaeologists who revealed them.
