Dr. John - Accentuate the Positive (VH1 New Visions) (1989) I really like this live performance. It's nice and simple, yet really soulful, in my opinion. After the live performance ends, Nile Rodgers thanks everyone for watching. Just like with the George Adams and Ben Sidran live performance, I don't have much a lot of information on when this live performance was originally aired. However, I do believe it was aired originally sometime in early to mid 1989 since there isn't any episode of VH1 New Visions that featured Dr. John during the previous year and the set of the program stayed the same from 1988 to November 1989. Plus, an image of Ben Sidran (who also appears in the live performance of "Accentuate the Positive") and Dr. John from New Visions appeared in the May 1989 issue of the Channels Magazine, which helps narrows the airing time down to sometime between January and May 1989.
