WRC 7 (PC) France - Its a Pixel Thing Challenge

Here is my play of France (Corsica) for the WRC Challenge with Its a Pixel Thing!, see our video below!    • WRC 7 Challenge - Lifeschools VS it's a P/...   Notes: Recorded - 19th Jan 2019, 9.50pm All settings on Pro, all aids off! Played with: A PS2 controller, using the D-pad to steer. I played this as part of a normal championship run of the whole game, and set the recorder running for the Its A Pixel Thing Challenge for the Power stage. By this time, my car was in a bit of a bad state, having been already on a few stages before, the brakes and the tyres were just a little bit worn out. You can see I go wide on the first two corners, simply to get a feel for the grip of the tyres, and by the third corner (left) Im on the apex. But, you can see a lack of grip when the tyres get hot, and I lost pace to Pedro from running wide at the hair pins, and not having the grip to pull away, or back into contention. We made the same mistakes running up the hill, and also going into the rocky section, so I didnt get the time back until after the tunnel. I also lost a lot of time on the down-hill section, by hitting the sides a few times, not something normally do. After the tunnel, Pedro went wide on the slow 3rd gear right-hander and following hairpin. I was slow on those corners, and slow into the square left, but after that the hammer was down all the way to the line. I gained back a lot of time, but it wasnt enough.
