SOLD 1985 SUBARU GL WAGON FWD 4X4 DUAL RANGE (D/R) 5 SPEED SOLD

Here's a walk around and on and off road "road test" video featuring my 1985 Subaru GL Wagon. The wagon is a 5 speed manual transmission front wheel drive (FWD), which is great in the snow, but it is also a four wheel drive (4X4) with high and low speeds in 4X4 which come in very handy when off roads and away from civilization. This transmission option in 1985 was named Dual Range (D/R). I purchased the wagon in 1995 in Denver Colorado and have carefully maintained the wagon over the years doing most of the needed work myself. The wagon is quite agile on and off road and carries an impressive amount of cargo. While the wagon has been kept mostly stock (as factory equipped), the rear suspension is recently upgraded to carry more weight without riding low. Approximately 20,000 miles ago the clutch and rear main seal and timing belts were replaced. Still, the wagon requires some minor repairs today like the fan (likely the relay switch), the interior cabin lights, the front driver's seat needs re-upholstery (many times people choose to swap in both front seats from a much newer car), tailgate gas struts replaced, some stereo work, an unknown short circuit which drains the battery after a few days, and the new owner may want the sheet metal repairs done and then a quick repaint to really sharpen up the wagon's exterior. Recently I added the wagon to Craigslist for a possible sale and created this video to help potential buyers see the Subaru and current actual condition. I am having the wagon re-smog certified at the moment for a California sale and proper title transfer and out of state buyers are welcomed.
