Halki informs Suryakant that Hasmukh does not want to see the baby's face because it's a girl. Suryakant says that he must not let Hasmukh make the same mistake. Meanwhile, Pavitra pretends to be sad. Rasilibai distorts the incident about Halki going into labour and how Phulki had sought Suryakant and his family's help. She says that even Menka chose to share the happiness with Suryakant. Meanwhile, Menka visits the hospital. Halki tells Menka that Hasmukh refuses to see the baby because it is a girl. Menka urges Hasmukh to accept the baby. Hasmukh retorts about how she had treated Suryakant's daughters and Savitri. He asks Menka to take Halki away from the hospital to her house. Menka then apologises to Suryakant and says that her love for her son compelled her to act the way she did. Suryakant asks her whether she had done it for the same son who had deceived them! He says that it was always Savitri and his daughters who had stood by him in crises. Later, Menka accuses Savitri of instigating Suryakant against Yuvraj and her! Menka promises to win this battle, and have Savitri and her daughters pay for it! A happy Menka informs Yuvraj that Halki has given birth to a baby girl but he says that Halki will not step into this house again. Yuvraj asserts that the one who keeps any ties with Suryakant and his family will have to sever bonds with him and leave the house!
