The additional width assists in easier application during the installation. 2. Cleaning your outboard cowling: Start with initial washing with soap and water, removing most grease, dust, dirt and any oxidized paint from the outboard surface. A final wipe with isopropyl alcohol will ensure a clean surface for the Outboard Wraps installation. *PRO TIP: Do not use products like Windex that contain ammonia. 3. Alignment: Line up your decal for a centered placement. Remove backing and carefully tack (apply pressure) to center of Outboard Wraps.
