US President Donald Trump has accused Ukraine of starting the war with Russia after a meeting between US and Russian officials in Saudi Arabia. Trump stated, “You (Zelenskyy) should have never started it. You could have made a deal.” He also claimed that the war would never have started if he were president, slamming the Biden administration, saying, “He (Biden) doesn't have a clue what he was so bad for this. It was so bad. So pathetic, so sad.” Trump’s comments have fuelled fears in Europe that Trump will try to impose a peace deal in Ukraine that favours Russia.
