What is pyrolytic cleaning oven- During this cycle the oven is heated to extreme temperatures of 500 degrees celsius which burns all grease and food deposits to ash and the only thing you need to do is wipe with a damp cloth. While Catalytic has a special Catalytic enamel coating which automatically cleans the oven ( burns fat and grease)once it reaches over 200 degrees celsius. I have a catalytic self cleaning oven that I call half self cleaning because it’s only the back panel that is self cleaning. To get the best results make sure that you clean the other The non-stick works well when you clean it when the oven is slightly warm. Best is to remove soiling before reusing the oven as this will keep burning and will be hard to remove. The manufacturer does not recommend using any harsh chemicals or even baking soda as it will remove/ destroy its non-stick properties. My best tip: Clean the oven after an oily recipe, baking usually doesn’t make the oven very dirty.
