Plant Simulation is a Discrete-Event Simulation (DES) tool from Siemens Digital Industry Software (DISW). However, it is not a proper CAD tool. Therefore, for work to prepare/conditioning the graphics, it is always recommended to use external CAD tool, such as NX in this case. For CAD preparation, some suggestion to prepare/condition the graphics: 1. Remove flexible geometry such as tubing 2. Cleanup the graphics (broken surfaces, self intersecting surfaces, etc) 3.
