Yet mysteries endure. What If Space Is Not Empty? proposes a cosmic medium born of nuclear processes, reshaping our understanding of matter, energy, and space. I am Joseph George, an independent researcher from India. Welcome to my channel, New Physics Project. On this channel, I explore alternative perspectives on how the universe works, with the goal of testing, validating, or critically re-examining the established frameworks of modern physics. My research questions several foundational assumptions, including the constancy of the speed of light, the principle of mass–energy equivalence, the post–Michelson–Morley dismissal of a space-filling medium, and the geometric interpretation of gravity in General Relativity. I re-evaluate conventional explanations of phenomena such as the bending of starlight, gravitational lensing, gravitational time dilation, and other relativistic effects traditionally attributed to Special and General Relativity. Drawing on theoretical analysis and anomalies observed in high-energy and nuclear systems, I suggest that some of these frameworks may warrant careful reconsideration and possible revision. Topics Discussed On this channel, I examine unexplained structural and morphological changes in spent nuclear fuel, alternative interpretations of the mass defect, and the physical mechanism by which the mass defect releases energy. I explore how nuclear energy is actually released and what truly happens to the mass defect during nuclear reactions and other high-energy events. I also investigate the possibility that space may be filled with a medium generated by mass defects. Within this framework, I propose new interpretations of Lorentz transformation effects, the bending of starlight, gravitational lensing, gravitational time dilation, Mercury’s orbital precession, and other phenomena commonly described by Special and General Relativity. In addition, I reconsider whether gravity may simply be an attractive force, as Newton originally proposed. Research Focus My work centers on understanding what physically happens to a mass defect during a nuclear reaction. In conventional physics, based on Albert Einstein’s principle of mass–energy equivalence, the mass defect is said to be converted into energy. I am investigating whether a deeper physical mechanism governs how this energy is released. I propose that the mass defect may involve ultrafast physical processes capable of generating an extremely thin, space-filling form of matter. If such a medium exists, it could offer alternative explanations for relativistic effects traditionally described by Lorentz transformations, Special and General Relativity, and possibly even aspects of Quantum Mechanics.
