The main steps in the procedure are : 1. Thorough pre-procedure evaluation of IJ veins 2. Risk assessment for complications 3. Puncture of right IJ vein with micropuncture needle 4. Choosing the appropriate length of catheter after the puncture 5. Insertion of guidewire into IVC 6. Tunnel creation 7. Insertion of the catheter over peel away sheath 8. Checking, suturing,dressing The emphasis throughout the procedure is on safety. The video is completely silent.
