Living in Orlando - Pros and Cons Orlando, Florida. Home to Disney’s Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Universal Studios Spiderman, Volcano Bay’s Water Park, and so so much more! I have lived in Orlando my entire life. 36 years and counting. I have witnessed changes to our roadways, water parks close down and another open in its place, and the growth in our Real Estate market. Needless to say, I consider myself an Orlando Professional. That is exactly why I wanted to create a ‘pro and con’ list to living here. Trust a local who has seen and done it all. Pro’s always outweighs the cons in any list you can make. 110% of the time, you can take a con and look at it differently to make it a pro. That’s what I did here. I brought to the forefront the obvious and not-so-obvious pros and then threw in some cons which are actually pros in the marking.
