The North Cascades is one of the most beautiful areas in Washington. Join us as we hike Hannegan Peak in the North Cascades within the boundaries of the Mount Baker Wilderness. The North Cascades alpine region is only a 2.5 hour drive from the Seattle area and 5.5 hours drive from Portland. On this trail you start in the valley and then hike up to find 360 views of glaciated alpine peaks and endless mountain views. 📍Hannegan Peak, North Cascades 🥾 10.5 miles long, best time to visit is between late June to September depending on the snow pack and snow melt for the year. ⛰️ 3,100 feet of elevation gain 🦮 Dog friendly trail, must be on leash.
