After saving Clank in Megapolis, Ratchet goes to meet up with the Desert Riders while fighting off several of the planet's hostile inhabitants. After having a misunderstanding at first, the duo wanted to race in the Hoverbike races with the rider's Hoverbike. After winning the race, the rider's intercom plays a transmission by the Thug Leader who tells Thugs-4-Less about their rendezvous point. After getting the Therminator, the duo go to the Feltzen System where they are automatically under attack by the thugs, but they outgun them in battle. Afterwards, the duo intercept a call between the thug leader and the thief to co-ordinates to Canal City in Planet Notak.
