Officers pull out the fingerprint scanner via usable item or command, authenticate through a biometric login screen with smooth scanning animations, and gain access to a full MDT system showing their complete scan history. When scanning a suspect, the officer presses the scan button — the target player receives the device UI and must physically hold the fingerprint sensor for 5 seconds (configurable) while watching a real-time progress ring fill up with glowing cyan feedback on the device scanner. All scan results are stored permanently in a MySQL database — officer name, target identity (first name, last name, gender, date of birth), and timestamp. Officers can browse their full scan history directly in the MDT, delete individual entries with a single click, and history refreshes live from the database. The draggable UI system lets every officer position the device anywhere on screen with their preferred layout saved automatically between sessions. Job-based access control ensures only authorized departments (LSPD, BCSO, Sheriff — fully configurable) can authenticate. Built-in distance monitoring automatically cancels scans when target or officer moves too far away, with instant notifications to both parties explaining what happened. Officers on the waiting screen get notified immediately when a target cancels or walks away, returning them cleanly to the MDT menu. Full locale system covers every single UI text — department name, button labels, scan results, notifications, status messages — swap to any language by editing one config table. Custom notification support lets you plug in your own notify system (risk-notify, ox_lib, mythic) or fall back to native GTA notifications. Supports ESX, QBCore, and QBox automatically with complete server-side validation — identity fetched server-side only, job checks on every action, scan sessions tracked and cleaned on disconnect.
