Truck Crashes into Building, Altercation Ensues with Police

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 11.17.23, 10:39 pm LOCATION: 1740 E. Huntington Dr CITY: Duarte DETAILS: l1. LAcoFD and LASD Temple Station responded to a traffic collision with a vehicle into a commercial building at 1740 Huntington Drive in the city of Duarte. 2. Once sheriff’s deputies and firefighters arrived on the scene, they located a Ford pickup truck inside of a commercial building and a second vehicle with rear-end damage. 3. The driver of the pick-up truck resisted Sheriff deputies and a fight broke out between the suspect and deputies. 4. The suspect was eventually taken into custody and transported to a local hospital. 5. The deputy was checked out by firefighters and was not transported. 6. The female in the other vehicle was also transported with minor injuries. 7. Building and safety from the city of Duarte are en route to inspect the building.
