Please like, comment and subscribe to support content like this from a small queer trans creator :) Notes: I know this song is more about female empowerment, not sapphic love, but I made it about both here I know a lot of people headcanon some of these characters as non-binary (Luz, Adora, etc) and I sort of do too but my views on it are flexible and in canon they're written as girls and I thought this was a cool song. Also being non-binary and being a girl obvs isn't mutually exclusive! Each time it says "that's my girl", the image first shows the girl in question, then the one who is saying that she's her girl, and then the girl being talked about. For example, where the lyrics are meant to be from Korra about Asami, the image sequence would show Asami ("that's"), Korra ("my"), Asami ("girl"). I chose a general image of each person for "that's", a happy/proud/in love face for the "my" and a clip of them being badasses for the "girl" Each time there's the part beginning "you been down before", I synced just one of these couples to all four lines, and then used the other two in the next 4 (beginning "destiny said it") This is the first time I've used most of these transitions in an edit but I'm super proud of it! Obviously I own nothing except the editing. The footage comes from The Legend Of Korra , She-Ra and the Princesses of Power and The Owl House. There's also one image from the comic Turf Wars.
