In this task, Henry is recruited by the Kuttenberg town guard not to forge—but to sharpen a shipment of dull swords. Of course, there’s a small problem: no one can find the key to the weapons chest… ⚒️ Quest Start: Speak with Magdalene at the Forge Magdalena informs Henry that a representative from the town guard has dropped by. Guard Commander Hans Plumel has requested Henry’s assistance on a matter that demands a blacksmith’s edge. Accept the task and head to Plumel, who explains that a shipment of swords arrived—but they're all dull. With no coin to order new ones, he asks Henry to sharpen what they’ve got. 🗝️ Talk to the Guard and find the Missing Key Speak to the Guard stationed at the Kuttenberg Guardhouse near Town Hall. He informs you that the swords are locked away in a chest, and the key… well, that wandered off with another guard who got drunk and lost it. You’ve got two ways to recover the key: Standard Search: Head to the alley just across the street from the guardhouse—under the overhang between the guardhouse and the All Saints Tavern. You can spot the key lying nearby. Sniffing It Out: Ask the guard for something with the lost key’s scent and use Mutt to sniff it out. He’ll lead you straight to the key’s location—not far from where you start. Return the key to the Guard, who sheepishly admits (without really admitting) that he may have been the one to misplace it after all. 🗡️ Sharpen the Swords With the chest now unlocked, grab the dull swords and bring them to your grindstone. Carefully sharpen each blade. Take your time—this is a test of your blacksmithing precision, not brute strength.
