Make a left and you’re in the middle of LK Metro, Tree Town, nightlife, bars, and action. Make a right and you’re in a completely different world — budget rooms, pensioner living, daily/weekly/monthly rentals, small studios with just a bed, A/C, shower, sometimes a box TV. No pool. No gym. No sauna. Just simple, affordable living. Beers 65–69 baht. Happy hours around 89 baht. Cheaper food just a few baht less than the main strip. Two completely different lifestyles separated by one turn. I show you: A bar with all-day drink promotions: Sangsom & Coke 45 baht Vodka & Gin 70 baht Leo / Chang 65 baht Coffee 45 baht A small food court with everything from hydroponic fresh salads to chicken wings (20 baht each), Thai street food, and Western options. The liquor store with some of the best prices I’ve found in Pattaya. A quick stop visiting a friend at his laundromat and checking durian prices. A walk to The Deli Factory for a corned beef Reuben and potato salad — about 30% cheaper than ordering through Grab (no delivery markup). Another food court stop, smoothie run, currency exchange (rates still rough), and a visit to a Western supermarket for snacks. From pensioner budget living to resort-style condos with pools, gyms, and saunas — it’s all within walking distance. Healthy or indulgent. Cheap or comfortable. Street food or imported meats.
