The 8008 was not an engineer's dream by any stretch of the imagination, it required a significant amout of support and glue logic just to get it operational. This imm8-82 board from the intellec 8 is an excellent example of the design effort that it took to apply the 8008 into a system. This video is just an introduction to my reproduction imm8-82 CPU board. We will need follow on videos to go into further details of the 8008 clock requirements, the internal processing states, data handling, and the seemingly eternal amount of support and glue logic.
