With a 4-position tone selector switch that takes you from honking treble boost at one end, to massive, bass-heavy chunge at the other, the GFH is wildly capable on guitar, bass, or whatever instrument you plug into its input. It offers two separate stages that create a very broad gain range to work with, and a mini-toggle adds clipping diodes to the mix when both stages are active, offering a tasty alternate tonal profile. In this demo, I put Gene Fucking Hackman to work on both guitar and bass in the opening musical number, then I go through the tones and functions separately with each instrument to let you hear the full range of nastiness GFH can summon.
