For a past project I needed a recording of a wall covered in paper blowing in the wind. I remember struggling on this sound as my library lacked a good recordings of this. I tried to Foley it and struggled to recreate the perfect sound. Then one day I was walking home late at night from a long day and I stumbled upon this sound. The construction company was installing new windows on this building and had several paper liners still in place. The winds were strong and this building was producing the perfect sound I was looking for. Unfortunately there is a lot of traffic near by, so the recording is not perfect. But at least now I have a proper reference if I need to recreate this scene again. Recorded with a pair of Mikro Usi Microphones and Sony M10.
