New Mexico Gambel's Quail Hunt (LOTS OF BIRDS)

Two Kansas boys get it done in New Mexico by shooting a ton of Gambel Quail. We did a bunch of research on where to find these unique birds and what things to look for to get into them and thank goodness we did because we did struggle at finding them. Luckly, we managed to find a great washout next to a crop field which held tons of birds. Me and my brother probably seen at least 70 Gambel's out of the two places we hunted. It was an absolute blast, and I highly recommend getting out there and trying to hunt down these neat little birds. When we were doing our research, we found out that a lot of people recommended hunting around Las Cruces and Deming. On are search around Las Cruces we didn't see to many washouts that me and my brother wanted to walk instead we were on the search for washouts and waterways in the flats. When we were looking for flatter terrain, we managed to see crop field that looked like they had the potential for success and boy were we right.
