Raining in the Desert & Sleeping Among the Tufas | Trona Pinnacles, Southern California Overlanding

Back out west and hitting the trails that first got us into Overlanding. Come with us on a weekend exploring some new spots, including the Trona Pinnacles - an other wordly place consisting of more than 500 tufa spires, some as high as 140 ft, rising from the bed of the Searles Lake basin. Waking up to rain in the desert was a bit unexpected, but we're glad we could spend some time in this beautiful place and share it with you guys.
