Ex-Michigan head football coach Sherrone Moore allegedly grabbed knives and "terrorized" a woman inside her Ann Arbor apartment Wednesday, hours after being fired by the University of Michigan. Officers with the Pittsfield Township Police Department were called to a home on Ann-Arbor Saline Road for a report of an assault Wednesday afternoon. Allegedly, Moore was unarmed when he entered the house through an unlocked door without permission. He got into an argument with the unnamed victim, who Prosecuting Attorney Kati Rezmierski says broke up with Moore on Monday after being in a relationship for a number of years. At one point, Moore picked up two butter knives and a pair of scissors, and threatened to kill himself, according to the police department and Rezmierski. "'I'm gonna kill myself,' 'I'm gonna make you watch,' 'my blood is on your hands,' 'you ruined my life,' and a series of very, very threatening, intimidating, terrifying, quite frankly, statements and behaviors there in that apartment," Rezmierski said. "It was only then, your honor, when the victim called her attorney and then at some point indicated she was going to call the police and then he left." Moore was found and arrested near Willis and Bishop Roads, about seven miles away from the victim's home, in Saline, Mich.
