Cosmic. i have never simped over a piece as much as I did over this. it's literally magical. there's an instrumental version of the song that I will also be sharing that I have experimented more on as over there I'm not limited by adjusting gemie's voice. but regardless, Hiroyuki Sawano supremacy. 0:00-1:11 it starts off so ethereally, almost as if painting a base color on a blank canvas on which it just endlessly builds on with gemie's vocals and the bells add such a cosmic vibe to it. 1:12- 2:18 I love how the lyrics and the build up correspond to the symbolism of being ever alone yet so beautiful in space that lines up with neeko's storyline. 2:19- 2:58 the slow piano really excels in drawing you into the song, I literally start imagining standing at the center of a galaxy and viewing all the nebulas surrounding me the way neeko did in the cinematic 2:59 - 3:35 where do I begin with this. where do I fucking begin. it is so ethereal to listen to. a few strings carrying such intense emotions, I imagine looking down at a once flourishing empire with a pensive gaze in retrospect whenever this plays. literal excellence. 3:35-4:13 I have no words. i am literally robbed of speech. this is so resplendent?? in awe. it exudes royal power for me. 4:13-4:45 the bread slice says it all. i am not human anymore. i have enlightened. i am smelling colors. 4:46-5:02 Im crying i m shaking im throwing up on my carpet what the f u c k 5:02 the bells literally are the musical equivalent of stars twinkling. it makes me so emo. what the hell sawano. im a mess. i love this song so much. i feel like a space monarch going to reclaim my long lost empire.
