Gameplay of Earth 2140, a real-time strategy game developed by Reality Pump Studios and published by Topware Interactive in 1997 for the MS-DOS. In the year 2140, Earth is split over the Eurasian Dynasty (ED) and the United Civilized States (UCS) fighting over the control of scarce resources as most of the planet was too contaminated for humans or even robots to survive and nuked out of existence. The UCS mission is the hardest of this demo, with several beginners traps and aggressive enemies. Oh and if you destroy the blue tech house (or if it gets self-destructed by you or the enemy), it will trigger a huge force of enemy heavily armoured tanks armed with rockets and lasers headed straight headed straight for your base and unless you have a substantial force of Spider mechas ready, you won't survive the onslaught. Getting this demo to work under DOSBox was a pain in the neck, with the game often failing to initialize the Soundblaster 16 sound card, or playing without sound or music. And running the intro video (which I play after completing the mission) often results in the game no longer running with sound.
