This is a video of the old "YMCA '94" LIVE show filmed at the Stated Island, New York CEC in the mid 90's. In this video, there are two different footages from two different people and possibly filmed in different years. I just saw both of these videos on yt of the same live show and decided to edit them together. It wasn't as easy as I thought since there was a lot of missing footage in both videos so I had to loop some parts or I included pics of this store over the years. So I hope you enjoy watching this! Staten Island opened in Spring 1993 as a Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza in the West Shore Plaza. It was the 2nd operating store on Long Island when it opened opening after Patchogue a few months previous with Commack opening up the following year. As you may notice, they have a unique stage and we just refer to it as a unique 1-Stage. So the backgrounds look different from the normal 1-Stage and Chuck has a unique star behind him. They also had a little pullout (hehe) performer stage underneath the main stage up until it was destroyed by a flood in 2012. So yeah it's pretty unique. The reason it's so unique is because they made this CEC at a weird time when they were making 1-Stages and testing out different things. There were 2-Stages and 1-Stages being released so instead of either of those, they decided to do a cool experiment. But unfortunately, as far as I know of it never got out of this CEC and I only know of this store in stores that got the unique 1-Stage. Still pretty cool it has lasted all this time and it is still there today! Jojo King on yt goes here and it's his home store! He has several videos on yt of this store now so go check them out if you want. I actually used his pic sometime in the video so...um here's ur credit lol. This store was unremodeled until Fall 2007 when they received Phase 4. They also ended up suffering major damages after the 2012 Hurricane Sandy which led them to getting new seating and booths, new carpet and games, and they unfortunately got rid of the little walkaround stage. Thankfully the show survived and still performs well to this day. This is actually my 2nd closest CEC to me and I've never even been here lol. I never really come to Staten Island. I've only been there once and I couldn't go to CEC. One of these days I'll try and go before they get 2.0 but yeah just thought I'd mention that. That's gonna do it for this video, thank you guys so much for watching. And I have some sad news to share with you in probably the next union video. Most of you probably already know but I'll go more into detail in that video.
