ZOOM R24: Making a Record with a Zoom R24. EP1: Recording Vocals and Guitar with the External Mics.

The first Vid in a series on the Zoom R24. I don't have many subs or views, but the few that I do have reacted strongly and need more assistance with the R24. Primarily, the gain stages, and getting proper output in the mastering phase. I'll be recording with the external mics, recording drums, using outside pre-amp's, recording electric guitar amps with multiple mics, and recording vocals. After recording, we'll go through post production steps: exporting to the computer, using Audacity and similar software to clean-up and master tracks, making sure we have the levels around -1.2 for streaming and other online purposes. The goal is to document and assist others in the process of conception to recording, and finally, mastering and release. I will also endeavor to maintain the highest fidelity possible given our budget and sonic restraints. Do It Yourself.
