During our road trip to the west of the US we were invited to stay at citizenM Los Angeles Downtown Hotel. This microtel has a nicely decorated spacious lobby and check-in area. Although the rooms are small, the design is well thought through. Next to several ironing rooms, a gym (with a view) and a business center, there’s also a great bar and restaurant. The location in Downtown is close to some top sights of the city. If you want to visit the beach you can take a taxi or public transport.
