Scottish Highlands The Final Chapter A Photographic Journey of Self Discovery

In this third and final chapter of my amazing photography adventure in the Scottish Highlands we find ourselves in Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris. It would be here that it all came together … my comfort level with the elements , rapidly changing settings on the fly, looking for compositions that had eluded me before, and learning how to put the camera down, take a deep breath, and take it all in … From battling the elements, hiking steep cliffs, to witnessing some of the most amazing rainbows , waves , and vistas I came away from this experience with a new sense of profound awe and admiration for what professional photographers many times must go through to “ Get The Shot” . I learned a lot about myself , my ability to get out of my comfort zone, and finally felt comfortable calling myself a “Photographer” . This was a true journey filled with discovery awe and personal healing... A special thanks to Nigel Danson for inviting me on this incredible trip, for his mentorship , and passion for this amazing craft we call photography.
