Japan Osaka Kawachikuni Ninomiya Onchi Shrine [Yao walk during cherry blossom season ①]

During the cherry blossom season, I took a leisurely stroll through Yao, which is about 30 minutes from Osaka city. Onchi Shrine in Ninomiya, Kawachi Province, which we visited after Hiraoka Shrine in Ichinomiya, Kawachi Province, is a historic shrine with a panoramic view of the Osaka Plain, located at the top of a set of fine stone steps. It is popular as an auspicious shrine with both zodiac signs, 2023 Year of the Rabbit and 2024 Year of the Dragon 😊 There weren't many people at Onchi Castle Ruins Park even though it was the best time to see the cherry blossoms, so I was able to enjoy the cherry blossom viewing with a sense of accomplishment. There was also an old folk house cafe, and the old townscape with its fine stone walls was wonderful. Afterwards, I went to see the cherry blossoms along the Nagase River, which were also very beautiful.
