Stems files allow you to work four different elements of a track independently to make DJ’ing and production work stand out from the crowd – making it ideal for spontaneous remixes, mashups and instrumentals. You could play the drums from one track with the bass line from another or even layer other grooves over different elements of a song. Stems can be used with the Traktor Kontrol S8, Traktor Kontrol D2 or Traktor Integration F1. Stems files will play like normal audio files on players that support the .mp4 format.
