On our REVO-A shocks, we designed them to have easy adjustability that perform great in every situation. One of the things that we’ve done to achieve this and offer an unsurpassed ride quality is we use a spring that is 2” longer than most competitors. This allows the shock to have a wide range of adjustability and to be very compliant throughout the range of travel. Shorter springs with a larger wire diameter tend to have a much higher rebound rate as the shock is compressed, resulting in a jarring effect even on smaller bumps and normal road conditions. The REVO-A shocks spring is designed to be tool free, this means you do not have to carry a tool on your bike to change the pre-load/sag in the shocks, you simply grab the spring and twist.
