This video demonstrates my Smart Blindspot Traffic Warning System prototype developed using the Arduino UNO R4 Wi-Fi microcontroller. The system is designed to enhance road safety at intersections or gantry-style crossings by detecting vehicles in blind spots and providing visual alerts to prevent collisions. 🔧 Key Components: Arduino UNO R4 Wi-Fi 3x IR Obstacle Sensors (left, right, front) SG92R 180° Servo Motor (automated gate) Traffic Light LED Module (STOP/GO signal) OLED Display (status feedback) Master Start/Stop Push Button Breadboard Prototyping 📋 Functionality Overview: IR sensors detect nearby vehicles approaching from blind spots. If a vehicle is detected, the gate remains closed and red light is activated. If the path is clear, green light activates and the servo motor opens the gate. OLED screen displays real-time messages such as “WAITING... NO CAR” or “PLEASE PROCEED.” 🛠️ Use Case: Ideal for smart traffic management systems, campus crossings, and entry/exit control at parking lots. 📚 This project was developed as part of my final submission for PSB603EN and is a practical implementation of IoT-based traffic safety systems.
