Already in its 8th generation of building the ninety-eight, Oldsmobile had completely redesigned the land yacht for the 1965-1970 model years. It was also the largest and most elegant of all Oldsmobiles offered. Six body styles were offered for the 1969 model year but only less than 5,000 were convertibles out of the almost 700,000 Oldsmobiles prododuced for the 1969 model year. This particular convertible is a real time capsule with what we believe to be a accurate 28,000 miles from new and only two long term ownerships in its history.
