From the Vault: Browning Model of 1955 Pistol

CCW and EDC are hot topics in 2019, but easy-to-carry pocket pistols are hardly new. Brownells Gun Tech Steve Ostrem walks us around the Browning Model of 1955. Simply the Model of 1910 made for export to the U.S. by FN, the compact, flat M1955 gives anybody who carries it 6 shots of .380 or 7 shots of .32 ACP persuasion in a pinch. It's an elegantly simple design, with the bare minimum number of parts. Very Glock®-like really, except the original Model 1910 predates the Glock® by about 70 years! You have to get used to the European-style magazine catch in the bottom of the grip. The M1955's disassembly procedure is different from modern pistols, but it's pretty easy - and Steve shows us how to do it.
